Coen Bros. Surprise Movie “Ballad of Buster Scruggs” Provided by Netflix, Oscar Consideration
The Coen Brothers have returned.
Their multi part film, “The Ballad of Buster Scruggs,” is likely to the Venice Film Festival. And after that maybe the Nyc Film Festival for example for Oscar consideration.
The omnibus western– six stories– stars Tim Blake Nelson, a lot of people we’ve never heard about, a few we now have like Tyne Daly and James Franco. It had become allowed to be a string on Netflix, however it’s a movie– long one– evidently narrated through the Coens.
“Buster Scruggs” is among 4 or 5 films Netflix has taken to Venice as well as other festivals having an eye about the Oscars. Could it come up with? We’ll see. Amazon tried this during the past year without success.
