Michael Jackson “Fake” Songs Case Leads to Estate’s Favor, Deranged Fans Still Won’t Believe King of Pop Sang Songs
The woman who sued Sony Music because she said they lied about Michael Jackson singing for the posthumous “Michael” album has basically lost her case today.
An appeals court ruled simply the Michael Jackson estate in case, nevertheless Sony’s act of claiming it turned out Michael Jackson singing– whether or not it wasn’t– doesn’t constitute fraud.
I will say that must be Michael Jackson singing three songs on the “Michael” album regardless that deranged fans claim it’s an impersonator named Jason Malachi.
The fans poisoned the sales within the album and turned that which was a non issue into an idiotic scandal. They wasted the court’s time because they were bitter, or stupid, or both.
This decision doesn’t decide who sang the songs– Jackson or Malachi– nonetheless it ends legal court case. The actual story won’t contribute to the minds of them people.
Nevertheless, I reported a good the songs in 2010. Michael Jackson spent ninety days moving into the Franklin Lakes, NJ home of his friends the Cascios in 2007. Michael had long encouraged Eddie Cascio being a producer and writer. Eddie and his friend James Porte– now his brother in law– had already recorded a lot of songs with James singing lead. Michael agreed to sing guide vocals towards tracks. They weren’t professional, there initially were no rehearsals, they had been scratch vocals.
Jackson died during 2009. 1 year later, Eddie Cascio offered the recordings to Sony along with the Jackson estate. I heard all of them at the moment. The over zealous fans– who resented the Cascio family’s closeness to Jackson– continued a campaign to discredit the recordings.
But in the memoir “Can remember the Time” about Jackson’s past few years, bodyguard Bill Whitworth wrote of the stay in the Cascios: “Mr, Jackson has also been utilizing the time and energy to develop his music. Angel Cascio had that studio during the basement, plus the among them would spend hours down there.”
Not will, nevertheless in the liner notes for any 25th anniversary edition of “Thriller,” the Cascio studios– called Angelikson– are listed from November 2007 for work done on two tracks. Jackson clearly completed with Eddie “Angel” Cascio. However, these are facts, as well as the fan who brought the nuisance suit–Vera Serova–and her posse would not think it.
I’ve heard the six other Cascio tracks not utilized for “Michael.” I wish everybody else could hear them, too. Maybe now Sony will be brave enough to release them and never bother about vexacious litigants.
Tomorrow would have been Michael’s 60th birthday.
